Hello, I’m Rabab Sehr, founder of Rabab Speech Therapy, an independent Speech and Language Therapy service based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. 

I provide private speech and language therapy for children and adults, offering home visits across North Lincolnshire and online therapy sessions across the UK. 

As a HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist with over 13 years’ experience supporting children and adults with speech, language, communication, and fluency needs, I am passionate about helping individuals develop confident, functional communication skills that support everyday life at home, school, work, and within social settings. 

My approach combines evidence-based clinical practice with warm, personalised support tailored to each individual and family. 

 

Speech and Language Therapy Experience 

My clinical background includes extensive experience working within NHS community speech and language therapy services, supporting children and families with a wide range of speech, language, communication, and fluency needs. 

I have experience supporting individuals with: 

  • Speech sound disorders 

  • Language delay and developmental language difficulties 

  • Autism spectrum condition (ASC) and social communication needs 

  • Neurodevelopmental and complex communication profiles 

  • Stammering and fluency difficulties 

Within my NHS role, I carried out: 

  • Comprehensive speech and language assessments 

  • Parent coaching and family support programmes 

  • Collaborative work with nurseries, schools, and multidisciplinary teams 

  • Communication training for early years staff and educators 

This experience has shaped my strong focus on functional, evidence-based therapy that supports meaningful communication in real-life environments.

Fluency (Stammering / Stuttering) 

Fluency therapy is an important area of my practice. I support:
